For close to 100 years, Mercedes Benz has made some of the finest cars in the world. Car owners lucky enough to have owned a Mercedes Benz know just how precious that privilege is. Mercedes Benz cars do more than just take you from point A to point B. They offer a ride unparalleled in convenience, safety, and luxury. Mercedes Benz parts and engineering are some of the most advanced in the world, which is why the car company is a leader in luxury automobiles.

Still, a Mercedes Benz must be maintained just like any other car. In order to get the most out of your Mercedes Benz, here are three tips on how to maintain your car:

Consistently Check Your Car’s Fluids: A car is of no use without its fluids, which is why properly maintaining your car’s fluid levels is so important for its longevity and performance. Be sure to check your car’s oil, coolant, and washer fluid levels every week and its power steering, brake, and transmission fluids every month. Also make sure to use the fluids recommended by the owner’s manual.

Use Synthetic Motor Oil: When changing your car’s motor oil, it is highly recommended to use synthetic rather than conventional motor oil. Synthetic oil is cleaner and more efficient for Mercedes Benz cars than regular oil. Make sure to change your oil at least every 7,500 miles or six months, whichever comes first. For conventional oil, be sure to change it every 5,000 miles or six months.

Rotate Your Car’s Tires: Tire rotation ensures that your tires are used equally and that your tires aren’t worn out. It is recommended to have tire rotations done every six months as well as to have your tires inspected for damage regularly.
