Charter vs. carpool

Planning a family vacation can be as stressful as it is exciting and the larger the group going, the more stressful it’s going to get. There are three main elements of a successful vacation, and they are the right activities, the right lodging, and the right transportation. Here are three tips for family vacations to help your planning go a lot more smoothly.

1. Find a Place Everyone’s Going to Love.
The first step in planning a successful family vacation with a large group is finding a place that has something for everyone. This can seem pretty daunting, but don’t fret. In fact, in some cases, the larger the group you have the better. This way the group can split into two and do different activities. Look for a place that has a number of different activities or attractions in the same place — at least the variety should offer different options.

2. Find the Right Lodging.
Another thing you need to do to plan a successful family trip for a large group is to find the right lodging. This largely depends on where you’re going, but it’s important to think about the amenities your group is going to need. Think about how many are in your group and how many are going to be able to share a space. Consider how many bathrooms you’re going to need and if your group has any special needs.

3. Charter a Bus.
If you’re planning a trip for a large group of people, the worst part of the trip is going to be getting there. This is why finding the right transportation is absolutely essential. Charter buses (also commonly called coach buses) are a good choice for large groups because they’re pretty comfortable — which means that people are going to have a lot less to complain about on the ride. Coach buses these days have wi-fi, air conditioning, and even bathrooms (which also means fewer stops on the way).
